Roosevelt Girls Lacrosse

Welcome!

After an exciting 2024 season where RGLC captured the Metro League title for a second year in a row, we can’t wait to get back on the field!

For our 2025 season, we will have just one team that will compete at the Varsity level. Players of all skills and abilities are welcome and encouraged to join! [Either no cuts or capped at a certain number - TBD]

Please read through the Key Information & Expectations and note the Important Dates. To begin your registration click here.

KEY INFORMATION & EXPECTATIONS

Registration Fees

Player fees for the 2025 season are $600.00. RGLC is an independent club that is entirely self-funded. Registration fees make up a significant portion of our budget and cover: Seattle Parks & Rec field charges, coach salaries, WSLA team league fees, and equipment (goals, nets, balls, goalie gear, first aid kit, etc.).

US Lacrosse Membership

Players must join the US Lacrosse association for $35 as required by WSLA. A current US Lacrosse Membership Number must be submitted before players may tryout or practice for insurance purposes -- NO EXCEPTIONS. Please apply or renew online at: https://www.usalacrosse.com/membership

Refund Policy

Once the season begins on Monday, February 24, 2025, RGLC does not provide refunds.

Financial Support

For more information about a payment plan or to request financial support, please email Wendy Katzman at wendykatzman@mac.com.

Parent/Guardian Volunteers Needed

We are an independent club that relies entirely on parent volunteers for all operations outside of coaching. We have a range of opportunities and almost none of them require any lacrosse experience. Our expectation is that every family will make an effort to participate in some way.

Fundraising

Fundraising is necessary to fully fund the club. All players are expected to participate in fundraising activities. There will be a variety of opportunities so you can find something that works for you. If you have ideas or questions about fundraising, please contact Deb Wepman at debwepman@gmail.com.

Communication

We pride ourselves on proactive communication, but it’s been challenging to find an efficient method for reaching everyone. Here is the plan for 2025:
